Southwest Florida International Airport Parking

Southwest Florida International Airport offers a variety of parking options at its 11,000-space facility, including handicap-accessible parking areas and long-term and short-term parking spaces.

Parking is free for the first 20 minutes at the short-term parking area.

Shuttles provide transportation to and from some parking lots, particularly those farther from the terminal building.

Please note where you are picked up upon departure from the lot when shuttles are available in your parking location.

Accepted forms of payment include cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and Carte Blanche.

Passengers who want to park their car at the facility must ensure that they arrive earlier to have plenty of time to look for parking and avoid being late for their flight.

Account for human traffic and the possibility of high demand for parking lots during this period.

Long-term Parking

It is located beyond the short-term parking garage and the terminal and is the economy parking, also a surface lot. Shuttles provide transportation to/from this lot.

If you are interested in economy parking at the airport, select the Long-term Parking Lot.

This surface lot is behind the garage and offers door-to-door complimentary shuttle service for passengers and luggage to and from your car to the terminal curb.

And the airport will take care of the heavy lifting for you, as customers are not only picked up and dropped off at your car, but the driver will assist you with your luggage.

The surface parking lot is located beyond the garage. Shuttles provide transportation to and from this lot and luggage assistance.

Short-term Parking

It is located right in front of the terminal. The second level has covered parking lots, and the third is uncovered.

The Short-term Parking Garage is located directly across the terminal with rental car facilities on the ground floor.

The second level offers covered parking, and the third level is open air.

Both parking lots are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and no reservations are required.

Parking at the airport includes free vehicle services, including jump starts, help to locate your vehicle, tire inflations, etc.

Parking Tips at Southwest Florida International Airport

• Leave home and plan to arrive at the airport at least an hour earlier. In that way, you can potentially avoid the likelihood of driving around looking for parking availability. It could also delay your arrival at the departure gate promptly.
• Check out the airport’s map. Before leaving for the airport, familiarize yourself with terminals, gates, access roads, and parking locations.
• When traveling with a piece of luggage, be mindful of the distance between the parking location and the terminal gates. Also, look if there are shuttle buses available in your vicinity.
