From the terminals passengers have the choice of several official airport taxi and limousine operators.

Apache Taxis (tel 480 557 7000), AAA/Yellow Cab (480 888 8888) and Mayflower Cabs (602 955 1355) are official airport taxi companies. Taxis Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport have their ranks at Terminal 2 on the north curb side, at Terminal 3 also on the north curb side and at Terminal 4 on Level 1 at the north curb side.

Glendale, Paradise Valley, Tempe and Ahwatukee are all within a 10 to 15 mile radius of the airport, while the city of Anthem is approximately 35 miles’ distance from the airport.

All fares are the same regardless of which Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport taxis passengers use or how many passengers share a taxi. There is no extra charge for the number of bags or suitcases either. Passengers pay $5.00 for the first mile. Each additional mile will be charged at $2.30 and each hour of delay caused by traffic is charged at $23. Within a 5 mile radius of Phoenix Airport the fare is $35, within a 10 mile radius the limousine cost would be $45 and within a 15 miles radius the limousine fare would increase to $55.

For a trip by limousine from Phoenix Sky Harbour Airport to Buckeye for example, passengers would have to pay $85, as the distance is 30 miles, roughly equal to the distance to Apache Junction located in the east of the airport. The city of Phoenix is within a 15 mile distance of the airport and the fare would therefore be $55 for two passengers sharing a door-to-door limousine service.

The various limousine operators are available for hire at the south curbs of Terminals 3 and 4 and just east of the north curb of Terminal 2.

Larger groups might like to consider the Super Shuttle vans, which operate for 24 hours daily and leave every 15 minutes from the north curb side at Terminal 2, the north and south curb side of Terminal 3 and the north as well as south curb side of Terminal 4 on Level 1.

Some of the resorts and larger hotels also operate their own courtesy vehicles which provide transport to and from their resorts. Passengers will find courtesy telephones located in the baggage reclaim areas in each of the terminals.
