Buses to and from Miami International Airport (MIA)
Upon arrival at Miami International Airport (MIA), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, trains, and buses.
The distance between the airport and the center of Miami (Bayfront Park) is 12 kilometers.
To the center of Miami Beach (Lincoln Road Mall), the distance is about 18 kilometers, and you’ll need at least 30 minutes to get there.
Bus to Miami Beach
When traveling from MIA, and you want to go to Miami Beach, it is better to choose the bus.
Every 20 to 30 minutes, the Miami Beach Airport Express (Metrobus Route 150) departs to and from Miami Beach.
For this express bus service, $ 2.25 for a one-way ticket.
Mover takes no more than a few minutes. The express buses run between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM. The bus makes several stops in Miami Beach between 41st Street (Mid-Beach) and the final stop South Point Drive (South Beach).
Stops on this route include the following streets: Indian Creek Drive, Collins Avenue, and the corner of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road.
Travel time with the Miami Beach Airport Express is 40 to 60 minutes, depending on where you need to be.
Note that buses can get crowded and you probably won’t be able to store your baggage in the luggage racks.
