There are several parking lots close to the terminal buildings, but mainly in front of the central terminal, where some 8,000 parking spaces are available. The airport’s own free shuttle service also drops passengers off at parking lot C, where the offices of car rental companies are located. Passengers departing from Los Angeles Airport and travelling to the airport by hire car should ensure they know, where to drop off their car at the end of their rental period.

The airport has four parallel runways overlooked by an air traffic control tower that rises 277 feet up into the air. Passengers departing from Los Angeles Airport have a large choice of hotels in proximity to the airport, which make very early morning flights more bearable with comfortable overnight accommodation.
