Washington Dulles International Airport Arrivals (IAD)

When you arrive at your destination airport in Washington, you should remember three things to smooth your travel experience.

First, familiarize yourself with the airport layout to know where your gate is and how to get there. Second, allow plenty of time for security checkpoints and possible delays. Finally, make prior arrangements for ground transportation to your final destination.

Following these simple tips can help ensure a stress-free travel experience.

Upon arrival at Dulles International Airport, retrieve your luggage and other personal belongings at the designated Baggage Claim area.

If you lost an item in the terminal, call Lost & Found at +1 703-572-8479. (Located behind Baggage Claim No. 2.)

Important Note:

If you are arriving in the United States from an international destination, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires a full declaration about passengers' currency or monetary instruments.

International travelers entering the United States must declare if they are carrying currency or monetary instruments in a combined amount over US$ 10,000 on their Customs Declaration Form (CBP Form 6059B) and then file a FinCEN Form 105.

International travelers departing from the United States with currency or monetary instruments combined with over US$ 10,000 must file a FinCEN Form 105 before departure.

You may file in paper or electronically at FinCEN Form 105 CMIR, U.S. Customs and Border Protection here: https://fincen105.cbp.dhs.gov.
