Honolulu Ferry Services
Upon arriving at Honolulu Airport, passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.
Honolulu Ferry Terminal - Pier 19
To get to the Honolulu Ferry Terminal - Pier 19, about 6 kilometers away, you can hire a taxi for approximately $20.00.
However, Superferry services have mainly remained unavailable due to the Hawaii Supreme Court ruling against its operation.
It stopped service between Maui and Oahu in 2009, and many in Hawaii wish they would return as a Hawaii Ferry option.
Superferry routes were seen as an alternative to Hawaii interisland flights from Oahu to Maui, and its opening remains a contested legal issue.
There are two Hawaii inter-island passenger ferry operations: The Molokai Ferry and the Maui-Lanai Expeditions Ferry.
- Molokai Ferry leaves twice a day from Lahaina, Maui, to Molokai. The ferry trip takes about 90 minutes.
- Maui-Lanai Expeditions Ferry leaves five times a day from Lahaina to Lanai. The ferry trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
Please approach the Airport Help Desk for updated information about ferry services or other ground transportation options in Oahu.
