Denver Airport is international, and a very important airport of the United States of America. It is located approximately 25 miles from the city of Denver, in the state of Colorado, and is otherwise referred to as DIA. It also has the IATA code of DEN. The airport handled just over 52 million passengers in 2011, and is therefore rated as the eleventh busiest airport for passenger traffic in the world. Child seats are imperative for families travelling in the United States, as all passengers are required by law to wear seatbelts, and a satellite navigation system, although not required by any laws, will greatly assist any journey. From Denver International Airport, hand controls are free of charge, but will require an advanced reservation, as they are only available on certain types of automatic vehicles. They will also need to be fitted prior to your arrival.

Sometimes only cars from a few categories may be arranged as one way hires, and cars may only be taken to nearby states, and not across America. Smaller cars hired from Budget could be similar to the Hyundai Accent and Ford Focus, while medium-sized cars include the Dodge Avenger, Ford Fusion, Chevy Impala, Infiniti G25 and the Ford Escape, which is a SUV that is fun to drive. Most medium-sized cars have air conditioning, cruise control, power steering, dual airbags and remote keyless entry, and come with good rental rates. Larger SUVs are available from Budget as well, similar to the Ford Expedition, Ford Expedition XL and the Ford Explorer, with room for seven passengers. Seven passengers are also ideal for the Dodge Caravan, a Minivan, and twelve passengers can be seated in the Ford Econoline. High occupancy vehicles such as these could have special features such as map lights, satellite radio and Bluetooth/SYNC.
