Buses to and from Nashville Airport (BNA)

Passengers arriving at Nashville International Airport (BNA) have several options for ground transportation, including taxis, rideshares, rental cars, shuttle services provided by hotels, and public buses, among others.

Buses at Nashville International Airport depart from the Central Bus Station on the airport's lower level. The bus fare is about $3 each way.

The buses run every 20 minutes and take about 30 minutes to reach downtown Nashville. The buses are wheelchair accessible and stop at many convenient locations in downtown Nashville, including the Music City Center.

Before leaving the airport terminal, you must ensure that your belongings have been claimed from the Baggage Claim area.

Nashville Public Buses

Taking either the Express Bus 18 or the Local Bus 18 from Nashville International Airport (BNA) into downtown Nashville is one of the most time-efficient, cost-effective, and trouble-free ways to make the journey.

Bus 18, with its low fare of only $2.00 per person, is the most cost-effective public transportation to travel from the airport to various locations within Nashville.

An express bus is an excellent option if you are in a rush to reach the downtown area of Nashville.

It's possible that taking the local bus will be the best option for you if you need to travel to other parts of Nashville.

There is a subtle but discernible difference in the routes and schedules of these buses if you are going to be taking them on a weekday instead of a weekend or holiday.

Airport Express Bus 18

Both Music City Center (at the bus stop on 5th Avenue just north of Charlotte between the two bay entrances of Music City Center) and Music City Central are served by the express bus service.

The express bus will take you to Music City Center in about 15 minutes, and it will take about 25 minutes to get to the airport.

Local Bus 18

The Airport Marriott Hotel, Elm Hill & Acorn, Massman Drive Loop, Lafayette & Wharf, Music City Center, and Music City Central are all locations where passengers can board the local bus.

The cost of both the express and local bus rides is $2.00. The area designated for pick-up at the Ground Transportation Center, which is located on Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2.

The level of the terminal that is designated for arrivals is also where drop-offs take place.
