Trains to and from Austin bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
MetroRail is a railway transit operated by Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority. It is designed to serve 32-mile route destinations connecting the downtown area to the Northern part of Austin, and to Leander.
MetroRail train features free Wi-Fi service, digital real-time data, and bicycle racks.
The Red Line, Capital Metro’s only rail line serves nine MetroRail Stations in Austin and one is located in the downtown area of the city.
Travelers can access the train at MetroRail Downtown Station which is 7 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
New Ticket Vending Machines are installed at MetroRail Stations. Passengers may pay the fare through the machine in exchange for train tickets.
Passengers can also purchase a train ticket conveniently by downloading the CapMetro App on their smartphone.
Train fare starts at $3.50 for a single ride and $7.00 for a day pass.
