Atlanta Airport Departures (ATL)

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport departures are one of the prime concerns of the airport official. Being named as the world’s busiest airport, it has to effectively organize the flight details of the airport that includes systematic coordination of the airline staff and airport personnel. To ensure that it is serving its customers in the best way possible, the airport has designed and developed the ATL Trak-A-Flight. This is an automated flight advisory that passengers can check from time to time to get updates on the changes and other flight advisories.

The ATL Trak-A-Flight provides convenience to passengers waiting at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport departures area. The passenger simply needs to register his flight information and email address in the online form. After a successful registration, the passenger will receive advisory on any changes concerning the status of his flight. In cases of delays, gate changes, or flight cancellation, the passenger will automatically receive an email notification. After the flight has arrived or departed, the advisories will automatically stop.

The subscriber can specify what kind of message they wish to receive. Short messages are designed specifically to email-capable cellphones and other hand held devices, while long messages are suited to desktop or laptop computers. Passengers who wish to cancel their subscription on the Trak-A-Flight advisories can simply enter their email address in the airport website that accommodates cancellation of the subscription.

Aside from Trak-A-Flight, the airport personnel also developed the Trak-A-Line, this provides the passenger details on the wait times that is required prior to boarding including security check-points. It also requires registration using the passenger’s email. Afterwards, the passenger will receive advisories and notification regarding changes of waiting times. After the passenger boards the plane the notifications will also stop. The passenger can also specify to receive either short or long messages regarding the advisory. Passengers are assured that their email addresses are safe and secured and will only be used for the notification. It is also important to note that wait times does not include times that will be spent on ticketing and checking-in of baggage.

Normal Status of wait times is specified below:

Main Checkpoint 10 minutes or less
